It’s been 84 years…
Yes, I watched Titanic again. And it reminded me of the last time I watched it and how I decided it would be easy enough to draw Kate Winslet ‘like one of his French girls,’ and created this:

It hasn’t really been 84 years since you kindly pledged your support for my debut album through that Kickstarter campaign. You know, the one I banged on about until you all stopped using social media entirely and went to live on the moors? But it’s been a minute, and I thought it was a good idea to reassure you that I haven’t forgotten about it.
I HAVEN’T FORGOTTEN.
My schedule was slightly derailed by the need to plan my trip to LA with a semblance of organisation and because my producer is currently on tour with Liz Phair, which just fills me with wonder.
So to keep you updated, I’m currently working with an exciting and very talented team on the music video for the 2nd single from the album, Soft Target and I already have the 1st single, Girl I Was, ready to go with its own video. I’m expecting to release these in February or maybe March, meaning the album is probably set to come out in April 2024.
What can I say? This is the one of the scariest, most overwhelming and frankly amazing opportunities I’ve ever had so I don’t want to rush it. But I’m sorry if you were hoping to give my album to your unsuspecting relative for Christmas. Go and buy them a Terry’s Chocolate Orange instead.
Oh yeah, and in other news I’ve changed the title of the album. I’ll leave that for the next update but it has solidified everything and I’m excited.
Finally, as a little gift I’m making my two currently released songs, Will We Ever Rest and Running Up That Hill (Kate Bush) available to download ABSOLUTELY FREE for the next two weeks. Just go here:
You’re welcome. I love you all.
And there was loads of room on that door.
